Book of Colors

I've been amazed by all the Scrap Buster Contest submissions over at Sew, Mama, Sew! this month. You ought to know by now that I'm a sucker for any scrap project, and when I saw this soft baby book of colors, I knew I'd be making one too.

Soft Book of Colors

I didn't exactly follow Homegrown Happy's tutorial and I found that without batting my book was plenty soft. Mine measures about 6" square. It's such a great idea and took only 90 minutes from start to completion.

You inspired me! I made one of these for my son and it was a fun & easy little project. I appliqued his first initial on the cover...it will be a sweet keepsake to put away for when he's grown. Thanks.
