Oh happy day!

Wall Hanging for Mom

Congratulations to my mother who is celebrating 5 years since her breast cancer diagnosis. In the midst of planning my wedding five years ago, our lives were turned upside down. But after chemo and two mastectomies, my mom is doing great, her tests have all been negative, and her positive attitude is inspiring, to say the least. We have much to be thankful for.

This little wall hanging is for her newly finished crafting area. I enlarged the size of Paper Panache's Support Ribbon quilt block to size about 9" x 11".

What a beautiful thing to do for her. So glad she is doing so well.

Carrie, that is fantastic about your mom. Having watched several people in my family and close to me battle serious illness, it really is amazing how much difference attitude makes. It may not change the fact that you are sick, but a good attitude allows you to manage and control what you can instead of getting lost in the illness. Your quilt is perfect! I am sure it will mean so much to her. Have a great week. Love Stacy

Oh and thanks for the comments on my apron! It means a lot for this beginner, lol.
