It was a real challenge for me to work through - not that it was hard, just tedious and time consuming. For the spiderwebs, I used small cutting scraps that might have been thrown away otherwise and pieced them onto the foundation fabric (Kona snow). Each large block required about 2 hours to piece. It definitely left me with a real sense of accomplishment.

I've always been intrigued by spiderweb quilts and yours is a beautiful example of the process/technique. I like the look of the webs against the Kona snow background (my favorite white fabric), giving it such a clean look.

I'm a huge fan of the two sizes as well - I don't think I would have tried the spiderweb if I hadn't seen this quilt. But I did see it and am just trying to pick out the right foundation fabrics and do some math before I dive in.

I love this quilt. I just recently joined my first quilting bees and one of them is a spider web bee. Most of the women are using the Quiltville Tutorial but I don't really care for the large kite effect in the middle. I was wondering if you had any advice on how to do something more like this. Of course if I do end up doing something along these lines I would link back to your quilt as inspiration and give credit for helping me with the process. I truly think your spider web quilt is the best I've ever seen. Love the variety of spider web sizes, as well as the lovely fabrics, plus the quilting is perfect. Just beautiful.

I can't look at this quilt enough. It is beautiful and just perfect for the chair it is on. Superb and cheerful use of browns, the binding and the backing are ... well ... genius!
