Progress

My spiderweb quilt is coming along. I started it in January, sewed a little in February/March, and am determined to finish the top in June. With the latest addition of 6 blocks, it measures 45"x60", but I'm indecisive about making it 60" square. I think it would look best square, but making 4 more of these blocks might do me in. I certainly have plenty of cutting scraps left, so I may have to bite the bullet and dig in.

I know how easy it is to "just want to get it done", but do what you think will be best. It'll make you happier in the end.

By the way.....Great Job! I love it.

It's beautiful and I really like that you createed two different sizes.

I would put it away for awhile and come back instead of forcing it to a finish but good luck either way!

Wow! Yours is great! Thanks for the link to my flickr photo! I really like how yours is turning out and can totally relate to not wanting to make four more blocks, but if you will be happier with it, then you should! I just got mine quilted and should be posting pics of it in the next couple days.

Love the blocks you are working on. So colourful. I was happy to find your list of "Some Inspiration" and am looking forward to visiting with them.

I have made only a few of these blocks for a row quilt. they were a lot of work. I can't imagine all the sewing that has gone into these.

Gorgeous! You can do it! I think a square would be perfect. I hope you can make it!

Wow-it's gorgeous! I love how you've added another smaller section in between. Might have to try this myself! I do like the idea of a square one...and someday, those words might haunt me.

Holy Moley it's amazing! This is the first time I've visited your blog (via your comment on filminthefridge) and I'll be checking back regularly from now on. How inspiring! Good luck finishing and give yourself a big pat on the back for this one!
